FESTIVALS

Icy City Festival
When: February 12th – March 14th

The Ice City Festival is taking over Charlottetown from February 12th until March 14th! The Festival will be decking the streets in ice sculptures and other wintery decor to Ice City will also have Signature Events each weekend, like Sugar Shacks, Comedy Shows, Live Music, and an Outdoor Market, as well as a slew of cool micro events and themed programming. Winter Warmth Festival
When: February 8 – 28th 

It’s time to warm up your winter! The Winter Warmth Food Festival is running until February 28th and highlighting Summerside restaurants and locally sourced food. Presented by Explore Summerside, this new culinary experience aims to feed you quality, wholesome dishes to invigorate your heart, mind, and soul! Sugar Shack Weekends

Merchantman Next Door Lounge Patio and Charlottetown Beer Gardens

It’s patio season! Wait, what? Merchantman Fresh Seafood & Oyster Bar + the Charlottetown Beer Garden’s patios are opening up for four weekends from February 19 – March 13 and turning their outdoor spaces into figurative Sugar Shacks! Featuring firepits, photo ops, maple sugar sticks (of course!), seasonal and hand-held food & beverages along with entertainment and more! Entrance is free, food and beverage at the locations vary.

Craft Beer & Comedy at the PEI Brewing Company 
When: February 19 & 20 at 8:00 pm

Island comedians are ready to give you a night of laughter and fun. Hosted by Dan Hendricken and featuring guests Shawn Hogan and closing out the night with Brad Doiron. Tickets are $25 plus fees and taxes and available online.

Curry & Cider Evenings @ Riverdale Orchard
When: February 20 from 4:30 –6:30 pm

Warm your soul on a Saturday evening by heading to Riverdale Orchard for their Curry and Cider Evenings from 4.30 pm until 6.30 pm. It can be either a take out or sit in/out option.

Max Keenlyside

Lauded for his skills as a ragtime and traditional jazz pianist, Max Keenlyside has performed for CBC and has headlined at festivals across North America. A graduate of the Holland College School of Performing Arts, Max went on to study classical and jazz piano at Mount Allison University.

Snowshoeing Package @ Riverdale Orchard
When: February 20-21st at 10:00am & 3:00pm. Reservations required.

Enjoy a one hour(+) guided snowshoeing tour around their sloping fields and orchards while soaking up the vista of Riverdale’s Rolling Hills. After the tour enjoy a hot Main Course dish from their Winter 2021 Menu.
